Nögel was founded 1981 by Heinrich Nögel and currently more than 200 employees are serving the clients requirements wordwide. At Nögel headquater in Germany are placed the production facilities for various products for the PVC and aluminium window and door industry. The R&D centre helps company to bring various patented products into the specialised market and is taking care on all certification and developments in the various segments. Ingo Schulte, director Noegel Befestigungstechnik SRL, offer as follows a review of local activity.  

 

- What was the turnover of Nogel in 2017 and which are the forecasts for the current year?
- Nögel group reached in 2017, with all its divisions, a turnover of more than 30 million euro. During the last year, our company recorded increases in Europe due to strong product portfolio sold on significant growing markets. Romanian subsidiary Noegel Befestigungstechnick started its operational work in March 2018, from new headquarter in Ciugud near Alba Iulia.

 

- Which are the main products in your portfolio on windows?
- Our core products had always been good solutions for fenestration market, including a wide range of solutions for installation. This offer constitutes an important strength for Nögel. Practically, we sell a full range of approved quality fasteners for all applications in the window sector, from standard ones to customized products. In Germany, we produce glass packers in all sizes and flexible glass bridges for various common systems. These bridges are quite unique and due their flexibility they minimize the risk of glass break during the transport and production. We also manufacture corner- and T- cleats, for different aluminum systems and developed our own patented connectors for doors, which minimalize the quantity of adhesives. Nögel Germany has more than 45.000 products in its portfolio, at least 500 different products being already available in warehouse. By 2019, this range will increase to 1000 different products. We must mention that all the systems for PVC joinery production and montage are already available in the Romanian warehouse.

 

- Please, evaluate your competitive position at international level and in Romania in terms of market quota.
- Nögel has a strong international position in the joinery production sector. Due to our 30 years of experience and a strong focus on quality we are able to offer our clients worldwide high-class solutions. Personally, I think the strong position is given by the fact that all products we sell are the same standard. Each product sold in Germany is also the same in Romania and other countries. All our solutions are tested e.g by IFT Rosenheim and respect the RAL regulations. Our intention in the Romanian market is to become the leading supplier for all market requirements related to window and doors production and montage. We offer high quality solutions, strong technical support, fast logistics and all necessary documentation from one source.
